I’m Michel van der Zanden. Since 2004 I am working as a professional in the music industry.

Seems like a lot of things but after working my ass off for 15 years, I have a lot of experience and knowledge which I can share with you.
Biography:
Born in 1981 in the Netherlands, Michel van der Zanden grew up in a musical family. His dad is a self-taught musician and taught Michel to play guitar and piano at an early age. Later Michel began playing in a lot of different bands and in 2004 he graduated from college with a Bachelors degree in Music Production and Performance.
From 2004 Michel started his first company Bounz Music Productions. Playing in different bands providing him the scales he needed for playing as a session musician in the studio. He composed music for commercials like Mc Donalds, ING Bank and Centraal Beheer. In 2008 Michel met Hidde Huijsman, a producer songwriter and they wrote al lot of stuff together. Together they wrote songs for artist like Jessie J, Matt Palmer and Sharon Doorson.
In 2013 Michel started a new company together with Sander Kerklaan called Evertone. They started a label together with All Music Publishing. The label is called “Blinq” and is a Production Music Library. Since the library was distributed to sub-publishers throughout the world, many syncs brought the label succes. Blinq’s music is featured in Hollywood trailers like Temps, Bitch, commercials of Pepsi, Renault, shows like The Today Show on NBC and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
At the end of 2018 Michel left the company Evertone and label Blinq. After 5 years composing full time for the label it’s time to change course.
